About The Position

The Sales Executive, through indirect interaction with brokers and consultants will work to close profitable energy deals and inform channel partners (aggregators, brokers and consultants) of TXU Energy products and services.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Sales-related role
  • Basic financial skills – budgeting, accounting, payback/project financing
  • Knowledge of the Texas energy market preferred
  • Experienced in client presentations
  • Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalency required
  • Ability to negotiate and overcome customer resistance to sales calls
  • Demonstrated high level of professionalism

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Texas energy market preferred
  • Experienced in client presentations
  • Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed company sales and customer service objectives
  • Use a variety of techniques to identify potential business customers
  • Work with channel partners to negotiate energy deals that benefit both TXUE and the customer
  • Work with management to refine sales strategy to optimize efficiency and results
  • Analyze customer historical energy usage to develop deal proposals
  • Develop and deliver proposals and presentations outlining customer needs and deals to channel partners
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer information with sales operation
  • Work with other depts to ensure customer and channel partner accounts are handled efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Ensure channel partner payments are received accurately and timely (initial setup and monthly payments)
  • Remain current on competitive intelligence, energy industry trends and channel partner news
  • Ability to negotiate credit & contract provisions with channel partners
  • Close energy transactions with channel partners
