The Sales Estimator's primary responsibility is to maximize the long-term success of Nucor by efficiently performing accurate joist & deck takeoffs to create high-quality sales proposals, while also effectively communicating with engineers, customers, and teammates to develop value-added solutions. This position requires a high level of collaboration with the assigned sales office and taking an ownership role with the bid process is critical to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner. Safety is the most important aspect of all Nucor jobs, therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
