As a Sales Estimator for us, you will be responsible for estimating mitigation work relating to fire, flood and other losses occurring to residential or commercial properties. You will work in close contact with the insurance company, the adjusters, and the property owner to assure the project is bid accurately and competitively. You will build long-term relationships with adjusters and insurance companies to assure that job opportunities are referred to you for estimating.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years hands-on experience estimating residential and commercial mitigation projects.
• Strong organizational skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Experience with Xactimate software estimating is highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with property owners, both residential and commercial.
• Experience with time and material estimating is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Estimate mitigation work relating to fire, flood, and other losses for residential and commercial properties.
• Work closely with insurance companies, adjusters, and property owners to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
• Build long-term relationships with adjusters and insurance companies for job referrals.
• Interact with both commercial and residential property owners, insurance adjusters, and TPA's.
• Work on projects ranging from a few thousand dollars to multi-million dollar projects.
