Requirements

  • At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program.
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal).
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience.
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
  • Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning & organizational skills.
  • Experience or coursework in analog or digital circuit design; a strong interest in sales strategy and competitive analysis is a plus.
  • Proven ability to conduct thorough research, apply advanced analytical techniques, and solve complex problems effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of GlobalFoundries' key technology offerings and analyze customer product portfolios to identify alignment opportunities, in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis by reviewing customer and competitor press releases, earnings calls, financial statements, and industry reports.
  • Support daily business operations and long-range planning by assisting with internal processes, tracking milestones, and contributing to client-facing initiatives alongside the Account Manager.
  • Participate in internal stakeholder meetings—including business reviews, sales strategy sessions, and supply discussions—to stay aligned with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
