About The Position

The Junior Sales Manager’s primary responsibility is to actively identify new potential markets for selling products, develop new profit and revenue streams, and create/grow a list of potential prospects ultimately improving business and continuing to grow the customer base.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of engineering experience in a professional environment.
  • MBA or desire to grow and work towards an MBA.
  • Ability to work independently, but also collaborate in a team-based environment.
  • Experience with marketing platforms and strategies.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain quality work while under pressure.
  • Ability to combine prospecting tools strategically.
  • Investing in continuous training.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect for new leads.
  • Work to overcome objections and negotiate with leads.
  • Implement cold outreach campaigns.
  • Collaborate with other members of the sales team to create outbound prospecting processes.
  • Collect the contact details of leads and share them with other sales representatives.
  • Actively maintain a database of prospective clients interested in the company's products or services and log activity in the sales platform.
  • Identify new engineering trends and technologies that affect the sale of goods and services.
  • Prepare reports on client interactions, sales activities, and other tasks assigned by the sales team.
  • Support the maintenance of customer accounts daily, working to meet tight deadlines and maintaining quality work under pressure.
  • Assist in developing written customer proposals.
  • Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process.
  • Understand the client's overall needs and demonstrate the product to solve these needs.
  • Participate in and improve upon brand promotions.
  • Use marketing strategies to engage current and potential customers.
  • Work to follow up with prospects and log activity in the sales platform.
  • All other duties as assigned.
