About The Position

We're looking for a Sales Engineer to work with prospects to support their evaluation process. In this role, you'll work across the organization to help prospects understand their objectives, connect Recentive's platforms to solve those challenges, and set them up to have long-term success as a Recentive partner. What You'll Be Doing Engage on the Front Lines: Meet our users where they are. Develop a deep understanding of the problems they face in their roles and across the organization, balancing quick wins with long-term impact. Partner with them from initial discovery through implementation. Showcase Solutions: Develop highly-curated content including case studies, documentation, demos, and other materials to enable prospects to understand all avenues of Recentive's impact. Build Together: Work directly with executives, operators, and engineers to understand business goals, surface context, and identify product possibilities. Translate these insights into system requirements that balance technical elegance with real-world constraints-even when the problem is still taking shape. Amplify Feedback: Collect, distill, and share prospect insights to help shape roadmaps and feature prioritization.

  • Track Record of Success: You have a proven history of engaging with individual users to senior leaders across the sales pipeline, translating challenges into solutions. You've worked at high-growth startups engaging with prospects from initial calls, to live demos, and beyond.
  • Self-Starter & Proactive: You can work through ambiguity, collaborate across functions, and make thoughtful, informed, decisions, even when requirements aren't fully defined.
  • Boots on the Ground: You embrace in-person interactions: whether meeting prospects, collaborating with clients, or connecting at our offices, and appreciate the impact these relationships bring.
