About The Position

Technically proficient and customer-focused Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, sales and customer service, and who is passionate about delivering tailored technical solutions to clients across multiple industries. Customer contact, site work and service guidance (including off site) are required for our products. Products include injectors, chlorinators, ODV and such other items manufactured by the Company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical), Business, or a related field preferred. Or Technical work experience that supports this job description and establishes competency.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales and service, preferably in fluid systems, fuel handling, or industrial equipment.
  • Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, positive displacement pumps, and PLC-based control systems.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Contribute ideas in support of continuous improvement of products and internal procedures, processes, and opportunities.
  • Maintain eligible driving records and license.
  • Perform standard, customer, and special testing processes required on a variety of items and products manufactured by Company and record and analyze results, prepare test reports and certificates of conformance.
  • Prepare and edit operation manuals, routines for repairs and testing, teaching guides in written form.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with aviation fueling systems, military fuel specifications (e.g., JP-8), and water treatment applications.
  • Experience working with government contracts or defense-related projects.
  • Knowledge of fuel additives and their applications including using Hammonds equipment in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of HTS’s product lines including: Fluid-powered additive injection systems (Models 150–2400) Portable and tactical deployment systems Fuel additives including the Biobor Fuel Additives and application Pump technology for transfer of any fluids
  • Understand and explain positive displacement pumping and all stream blending applications.
  • Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies in fuel treatment and fluid handling.
  • Perform field repairs, calibrations, training and oversee the commissioning of product startups.
  • Provide service and customer support during field visits to build relationships and trust with customers. Perform in-house evaluations, carrying out the repair of products and assist production with the assembly of products following engineered drawings and company standards.
  • Support R&D projects as directed.
  • Identify and support new business opportunities in aviation, military, industrial, commercial and municipal sectors.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, product demonstrations, and pricing estimates.
  • Support the sales cycle from lead generation to post-sale support, including site visits and system commissioning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and OEM partners.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Provide technical training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support to customers.
  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and marketing teams to align customer needs with product development.
  • Provide customer feedback to improve product design and service offerings.
  • Contribute ideas in support of continuous improvement of products and internal procedures, processes, and opportunities.
  • Upkeep and cleanliness of work areas.
  • Follow company safety & security guidelines
