The Sales Engineer will focus on driving Sales of TRUMPF Consumables and Product Enhancements offerings in USMCA markets. The role will require active consultation with customers during machine sales projects as well as after sales. This position will require traveling to customers to understand their requirements and to support the field sales team with product expertise for consumables and product enhancements. This position will be the subject matter expert in TRUMPF’s consumables and product enhancements portfolio.

Requirements

  • strong technical/sales experience with experience in sheet metal fabrication and knowledge of TRUMPF technology preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills required
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills a must
  • SAP, Microsoft Office Suite desired
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience is required
  • AS degree required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Act as subject matter expert in the field of consumables and product enhancements
  • Consult with main product sales and TruServices sales generalists to support with consumables and product enhancements expertise
  • Support product management with product offerings for consumables and product enhancements
  • Act as subject matter expert for consumables and product enhancements
  • Work closely together with the Product Management team in Germany to increase Sales of consumables and product enhancements
  • Develop product information for USMCA market to support field sales team
  • Support creation and further improvement of standard processes for consumables and product enhancements sales
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline data to track progress on sales targets
