About The Position

The Sales Engineer serves as a technical expert and trusted advisor to customers, responsible for driving profitable growth through design-in engineering, technical consultation, and strategic account development. This role combines application engineering expertise with value-based selling to influence customer decisions and expand market presence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline preferred)
  • 1–4 years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or customer-facing engineering roles
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop a defined sales territory across multiple industries, identifying and converting high-value growth opportunities
  • Lead technical discussions with customer engineering and R&D teams to support design-in of SFC KOENIG solutions
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear customer value propositions
  • Build, manage, and close a robust sales pipeline aligned with business growth objectives
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, collaborating closely with Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through regular on-site visits, technical reviews, and solution-focused engagement
