About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Sales Engineer with a specialization in serving the SLED market (State, Local, & Education). In this role, you will be at the forefront of UiPath's mission to empower government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations with innovative automation solutions through UiPath's Automation Platform. As a Public Sector Sales Engineer, you will leverage your technical prowess and deep understanding of public sector challenges to help these organizations achieve greater efficiency, transparency, and citizen satisfaction through automation.

Requirements

  • Experience working with Public Sector accounts specifically in SLED (State, Local, & Education).
  • Experience in a customer-facing, account management or strategic consulting organization.
  • Technical background with hands on experience in SaaS based technologies with AI and/or RPA experience a plus.
  • Results-oriented and outcome-based mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Self-motivated, proactive approach with innovative ideas to inspire customer loyalty and adoption.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience building strong internal and external relationships.
  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues.
  • Team player attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory, as well as a second language.

Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise in the unique challenges, regulations, and compliance standards that shape the landscape for public sector organizations at the state and local level.
  • Collaborate closely with our sales teams to tailor solutions based on UiPath's Automation Platform to meet the precise needs of public sector clients.
  • Conduct targeted product demonstrations, showcasing how UiPath's Automation Platform can deliver measurable benefits to public sector entities.
  • Engage with public sector customers to gather and analyze their specific technical requirements.
  • Design, configure, and execute POCs that are tailored to public sector clients.
  • Deliver technical presentations to a diverse audience of public sector stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Account Executives to develop and execute sales strategies tailored to public sector clients.
  • Ensure that solutions built on UiPath's Automation Platform meet the stringent security and compliance standards of public sector organizations.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation and case studies that highlight successful automation deployments within the public sector.
