About The Position

Sandvik Coromant in North-Central Florida region is looking for a Sales Engineer. Location: Ideal location would be in or around Ocala, Gainesville, Orlando or Daytona Beach. Requirements

  • Five or more years' experience in sales management with engineering cutting tools experience and technical knowledge.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or related field.
  • Proven track record in delivering good business results.
  • Strong execution capabilities, able to create synergy, collaborate and gain commitment.
  • Experience managing external and internal customer relationships in accordance with commercial and technical terms and conditions.
  • Relevant experience from CAD/CAM and application knowledge is an advantage.
  • Project management knowledge is an advantage.
  • Skilled communicator, presenter, and negotiator in the English language, verbally and in writing.
  • Must possess a current driver's license valid for his/her state of primary residence.
  • Applicant must be a US citizen or have eligible work permit.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant experience from CAD/CAM and application knowledge.
  • Project management knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Providing ongoing support to our customer portfolio by consulting with customers to understand their needs and providing the ultimate customer experience by implementing the full Coromant offer.
  • Ensuring appropriate development strategy is defined for the assigned customer portfolio.
  • Supporting Sales Management team by providing accurate forecasts, budgets and targets.
  • Ensuring high quality and latest updates of data and information including case management, detailed Account Plans, Customer Value Plans, and sales activities in CRM (Dynamics) within assigned customer portfolio.
  • Developing local business plans to ensure market increases/key product focus within the sales department are achieved in line with financial targets and KPI's.
  • Building strong customer relationships and securing customer commitment and service excellence through customers' pain points knowledge.
  • Maintaining existing markets and hunting for new opportunities within their customer portfolio.
  • Promoting the competitive advantage of Sandvik Coromant products and advanced solutions, highlighting differentiating advantages the company's Total Value Chain Offer.
  • Executing delivery of technical solutions and sales support to end-customers and distributors to grow wallet within territory and customer base.
  • Recommending products and services that fit well with customers' business needs.
  • Troubleshooting, investigating, and resolving technical problems that arise.
  • Delivering training to educate external partners and customers on new product releases and features.
  • Documenting applied products and services performance and cost savings results using Productivity Analyzer software.
  • Performing mathematical calculations applicable to product applications and sales statistics.
  • Building effective working relationships with end customers and distributors to secure projects and opportunities to grow sales.
  • Driving new ways of working and future technology within field of expertise to ensure customers' needs are fulfilled and profitable business is gained.
  • Leading customer projects from start to finish while coordinating with all internal stakeholders, partners, and customers.
  • Taking responsibility and control for the high-quality performance of the job duties.
  • Applying a structured and organized business-oriented approach to daily work using the digital tools within Office 365.
  • Consistently improving knowledge of the Sandvik Coromant Offer and quality of production, new tools and technologies to increase professional development.
