The Sales Enablement & Learning group at Morningstar is part of the Business Development & Sales group, which focuses on assisting advisor and institutional clients in enhancing their businesses and achieving better outcomes for investors. The firm is dedicated to empowering investor success by providing the necessary data, independent research, software, and services tailored to the needs of the investment community. We are looking for a Sales Enablement & Learning Program Manager who is passionate about enablement and dedicated to helping others succeed. This role is crucial for Morningstar's sales enablement and learning initiatives, providing exposure to various global sales teams, including Sales Development Representatives, Mid-Market Accounts, and Direct Sales Specialists. The Program Manager will ensure that sales personnel possess the skills, knowledge, and process expertise required to perform effectively and efficiently. The enablement program emphasizes four key areas: Industry Domain Knowledge, Product Knowledge, Client Facing Skills, and Sales/Service Operations. Reporting to the Director of Sales Enablement & Learning, the Program Manager will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to design, develop, and implement impactful enablement and learning solutions that enhance team capabilities, build knowledge, and develop skills. The focus will be on enablement that improves the teams' ability to strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities for Morningstar.

  • Support onboarding program for teams, including organization of onboarding plans, facilitation of live sessions, coordination with managers on 30-60-90-day expectations, and coaching where applicable.
  • Partner with Enablement and SMEs to develop training curriculum for Mid-Market teams, including inventory of existing curriculum, identifying gaps, and developing missing content.
  • Navigate, prioritize, and balance conflicting stakeholder initiatives effectively.
  • Be a key stakeholder in the delivery of training programs, including new go-to-market solutions, industry trends, and client-facing skill workshops.
  • Collaborate with Sales leaders, selling teams, Product Marketing/Management, Client Solutions, and other groups to identify training needs and develop appropriate enablement training and content.
  • Learn and master the complexities of the industry that Morningstar serves.
  • Evaluate, iterate, and measure the effectiveness of programs using impact metrics and KPIs.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% nationally and internationally.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, learning and development, coaching/employee development, or previous sales/customer success.
  • Experience managing and delivering content/curriculum in multiple modalities (live training, e-Learning, self-paced, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate across complex organizations.
  • Proven dynamic presentation and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Passion for adult learning best practices and techniques.
  • Intermediate skills with PowerPoint and Excel, and familiarity with LMS or Sales Enablement Platform software.
