About The Position

The Sales Effectiveness & Customer Experience Manager – Buick/GMC serves as the strategic lead for all initiatives that enhance sales performance, dealer engagement, and customer experience across the Buick GMC network. In this role, you will oversee core sales effectiveness programs, drive consistency in execution, and ensure that Buick GMC delivers a best‑in‑class customer journey. The Sales Effectiveness & Customer Experience Manager – Buick/GMC will lead key programs such as the Field Performance Report, Ultimate Scorecard, Dealer Success, and Digital Lead Performance, with a strong emphasis on optimizing lead volume, quality, and close rate performance. This position also manages the creation, governance, and distribution of ad‑hoc reporting and insights for the Buick GMC organization. This is a highly collaborative role that partners closely with cross‑functional teams, field leadership, legal, digital/CRM teams, and dealer-facing stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of automotive industry experience (OEM or large dealer group strongly preferred).
  • Direct experience in dealer contact, sales operations, or field operations.
  • Strong project and program management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, make sound decisions, and provide actionable insights.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to leadership.
  • Ability to travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with digital lead management, CRM systems, or OEM retail programs.
  • Knowledge of Buick GMC, GM systems, or previous OEM sales operations experience.
  • Familiarity with customer experience frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration Lead and manage cross-functional sales effectiveness and CX initiatives across Buick GMC.
  • Oversee planning, execution, and alignment of ad‑hoc programs and projects.
  • Partner with Field Teams, Legal, CRM/Digital, and other cross‑functional groups to drive consistent program execution.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline program requirements across functions.
  • Customer Experience & Dealer Performance Serve as the voice of the customer in program development and enhancement discussions.
  • Develop strategies that increase customer retention and satisfaction across both sales and service channels.
  • Monitor dealer performance across key metrics, including digital lead behavior, close rates, and program compliance.
  • Analytics, Reporting & Insights Lead the creation and distribution of data-driven reporting and insights, including performance dashboards and leadership readouts.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to improve dealer performance, customer experience, and sales outcomes.
  • Evaluate competitive programs and provide insights that shape Buick GMC’s go-to-market strategy.
  • Leadership Communication & Alignment Develop and deliver presentations for senior leadership, field leadership, and cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate meetings that drive alignment, decision-making, and operational execution.
  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives with strong project management discipline.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
