About The Position

As a District Sales Manager at Russell Cellular, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability across a district of 8-12 stores. This role involves managing, influencing, and supporting store personnel to achieve company goals and objectives. You will lead, mentor, and coach Wireless Sales Representatives and Store Managers, network, recruit, and train staff, and provide feedback to the Regional Sales Manager and Corporate Office regarding marketing needs, product development, and pricing. Additionally, you will promote stores and build customer awareness in the local market while developing strong relationships with Verizon personnel.

Requirements

  • 3 Years Retail Sales Experience.
  • 1 Year Management Experience, Multi-unit Preferred.
  • Proven leadership ability.
  • Experience in coaching teams.
  • Experience in hiring and training employees.
  • Willingness to learn and expand knowledge about Russell Cellular and Verizon Wireless products and services.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives.
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • General office skills.
  • Competency in PC: Point of sale system, E-mail, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Persuasive communication skills.
  • Passion for technology and the wireless industry.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and motivated demeanor required.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Lives (or willing to relocate) within the area of stores being managed.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and profitability in a district of 8-12 stores.
  • Manage, influence, and support all store-based personnel.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach Wireless Sales Representatives and Store Managers.
  • Network, recruit, and train Wireless Sales Representatives and Store Managers.
  • Provide feedback to Regional Sales Manager and Corporate Office.
  • Promote stores and build customer awareness in the local market.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Russell Cellular and Verizon Wireless services and products.
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with Verizon personnel.
  • Perform job duties of all positions in reporting chain as needed.
