About the position

Teads is seeking a motivated seller to join our growing Sales team. As a Sales Director (Individual Contributor) for Teads, your primary focus will be to promote the sale of our platform to key agency and client accounts in the West Coast. You will help develop a growing category and account list for Teads by prospecting and closing business with a targeted list of agency and advertiser accounts. Your role will involve developing strong, mutually beneficial relationships with clients and working closely with internal teams and SMEs to ensure a united vision when corresponding with clients. You will represent Teads in the online marketplace and become an active Brand Advocate, meeting quarterly and annual revenue targets, as well as weekly activity targets (8-10 meetings per week). Additionally, you will work closely with internal teams such as Account Management, Ad Ops, Data, Insights & Measurement, Teads Studio, and Publishing to ensure client opportunity expectations are strategic and focused, and campaign expectations are clear, on time, and on budget. Ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and operational excellence to generate renewals and increase incremental revenue at all times is also a key part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of digital media sales experience, ideally within mobile or video.
  • Experience at a DSP, trading desk, or ad tech company.
  • Experience selling SaaS or self-serve business solutions preferred.
  • Deep relationships with Director and VP level and above contacts at top-tier agencies and advertisers.
  • Seasoned understanding of the digital video marketplace.
  • Desire to work in a changing, fast-paced start-up.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Driven, passionate, and an ultimate team player.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
