London is our HQ with regional offices in Amsterdam, New York, LA, Toronto, Sydney, Seoul and Manila. Venatus is hiring an experienced Sales Director to join our growing U.S. sales team and help shape the future of gaming and entertainment advertising. This is a remote role, but candidates must be based in Chicago. The position requires frequent in-person meetings with agencies, clients, and partners in Chicago, as well as travel across an assigned Midwest territory. In this role, you will own agency and brand relationships across the Midwest, driving new business while expanding existing partnerships across Venatus’ premium gaming and entertainment portfolio. You will sell innovative, high-impact advertising solutions that connect world-class brands with highly engaged gaming audiences. This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys building relationships, and wants to play a meaningful part in Venatus’ growth story.

Requirements

  • Established agency and or brand relationships within the Midwest preferred
  • Comfort selling complex, custom media solutions
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confidence using data and insights to support recommendations
  • A genuine interest in gaming, entertainment, and emerging media environments
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to travel regularly within the Midwest

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow agency and brand relationships across Chicago and the broader Midwest territory
  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Develop and pitch custom advertising solutions across gaming and entertainment environments
  • Manage your full sales pipeline from prospecting through close and onboarding
  • Serve as a trusted partner to clients by delivering insights, updates, and performance learnings
  • Collaborate closely with internal Sales Marketing, Creative, Ops, and Ad Ops teams to deliver best-in-class campaigns
  • Stay ahead of new product launches and opportunities to maximize client investment
  • Track and report on pipeline health, revenue growth, and forecasting
