About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong sales experience in SaaS and/or DaaS environments, along with a deep understanding of the retail and CPG ecosystem. If you would describe yourself as an entrepreneurial self-starter who is creative, extremely high energy, and thrives on challenges, this opportunity might be for you. As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying, landing and closing large deals in the Retail and Packaged Goods (CPG) space. The successful candidate combines a strong understanding of Vision AI with excellent sales execution and operational discipline. This role requires a self-motivated, hands-on individual who can independently manage the full sales cycle end to end, while effectively engaging stakeholders at all levels, from executive leadership to operational contacts.

Requirements

  • Strong sales experience in SaaS and/or DaaS environments, along with a deep understanding of the retail and CPG ecosystem technology-based solution selling.
  • Strong consultative selling capability, with the ability to uncover strategic customer priorities and align them to business value.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Commercially minded leader with strong business judgment and the ability to align customer needs with scalable solutions.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-growth, fast-moving environment while contributing effectively within a cross-functional, growth-oriented organization.
  • Strong discovery and consultative selling skills, with the ability to uncover business needs and align solutions effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong prospect and client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience closing significant commercial agreements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a pipeline of new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and hunting.
  • Research target accounts and develop strategic outreach plans to engage prospective clients.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer needs, priorities, and business challenges to identify alignment with Pensa’s solutions.
  • Develop relationships across customer organizations to understand buying dynamics and expand opportunity potential.
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach and opportunity creation through negotiation and close.
  • Partner with the Sales and cross-functional leadership to advance strategic sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate internally with supporting teams to address customer needs, solve issues, and share market feedback and best practices.
  • Position Pensa’s data, insights, and Vision AI capabilities as solutions to key client business challenges.
  • Maintain strong sales discipline, including pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity progression.
