The Global Director of Sales drives revenue growth in Americas and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions by defining, implementing and overseeing sales strategies and disciplines in coordination with strategic key accounts. This important leadership position will supervise a team of direct reports in both Sales and Customer service with significant budget responsibility in the Specialty Engineered Materials (SEM) business segment. Expectations include the ability to effectively coach a sales team to sell at all levels of management and build relationships that ensure Avient will continue to get the first and last look. Being skilled at customer centric selling approaches and effectively selling the value of our speciality materials (engineered polymers and fibers) and services in industrial market applications are also keys to success, as well as have the ability to assist customers in problem solving to deliver solutions, bring energy, enthusiasm and professionalism to their daily routines. This individual is a thought leader who performs independently and has demonstrated the ability to effectively interact and influence all levels of organizations (Avient and Customer) including the VP/GM level.
