About The Position

Raise BNP Paribas Securities Services' profile in the US Alternatives industry and generate new client revenues to meet sales targets. This includes working with Buyside Alternatives sales team and report to the head of that team, while partnering closely with our local and global Business and Product teams as well as our Global Markets team. Meet annual sales targets of $5m+. Close alignment with geographical colleagues such as US to EMEA to continue to achieve a strong cross border sale with global clients based in the United States. Construct and execute a sales universe short-, medium- and long-term targets with weekly or quarterly reporting. Source, lead, and close new business deals independently of the wider bank's connectivity. Work closely with BNP Paribas global Financial Institutional Coverage teams on strategic accounts to position Asset Managers and Alternative Investment Managers for cross sell initiatives. Monitor, grow, and track sales pipelines that reflect $50m+ revenue annually to ensure targets will be hit at end of year. Build trusting relationships with procurement teams within large asset managers and large alternative managers. Source and run RFP processes for new business mandates including selecting deal team and SMEs per deal. Develop internal relationships with the key stakeholders of BNP Paribas C suite to have engagement with prospects at the most valuable time. Lead accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, opportunity assessments and activity reports to management. Manage and drive newly closed deals to guide onboarding of new clients until the funds have gone live, consistently reviewing product suite that can complement onboarding challenges. Coordinate and work with multi locations on multi deal initiatives, multiple fee schedules and multiple onboardings e.g. Luxembourg, Dublin, NYC, London. In-depth knowledge of EU regulatory framework including UCITS, REITS, OEICS, AIFMs reflecting the correct product mix for regulated funds. Travel 50% required - United States, Europe (London, Dublin, Luxembourg, Paris).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, or related field and eight (8) years of experience with Financial services.
  • Must have eight (8) years of experience with the following:
  • Expertise in alternative asset managers
  • Expertise in various asset manager operating models
  • Expertise in detailed working of loan and collateral administration
  • Experience selling to global investment community
  • Cross border experience selling in multiple domiciles (UK, IRE, Luxembourg, US)
  • Cross border experience selling
  • Experience selling multiproduct deals made up of 5-12 products designed to complete a funds end to end investment cycle
  • Hedge fund markets.
