About The Position

We are looking for a Sales Director to join our Rexel team in Naperville, IL! Summary: The Sales Director is responsible for maintaining a high-quality sales team by overseeing training in all products and services, ensuring new team members are quickly integrated and productive, and monitoring the accuracy and timeliness of sales forecasts. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for clients and Sales personal.

Requirements

  • 10+ years sales experience
  • 5+ years of sales leadership preferred
  • Maintenance experience with Industrial and Utility customers
  • Experience developing and implementing sales strategies
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of sales management achievement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent at managing time, priorities, and expenses
  • Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with customers; ability to collaborate at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining the highest quality sales team possible by continually ensuring the entire team is trained in all products/services provided
  • Responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategy for his/her area of focus. Strategy should accommodate regional goals
  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the sales forecast
  • Responsible for customer interaction to help further company sales
  • Motivate sales team to constantly improve its performance
  • Responsible for ensuring that all new additions to the sales team are brought up to speed and are productive in the shortest timeframe possible
  • Strive to identify new business opportunities and new partnering relationships at the executive level
  • Other duties as assigned
