The Sales Director - ESPS will work directly with the VP of Sales and sales team in Empower Stock Plan Services (ESPS) to drive sales and growth and will own the sales funnel relating to select inbound and outbound prospects. The Sales Director will partner with Regional Sales Directors for new client prospects and Relationship Managers for current client prospects to drive sales of ESPS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Finance or related field)
  • Passed Level 1 of Certified Equity Professional exam required
  • 2 years of sales experience in stock plan/equity compensation
  • Series 7 registration required within corproate-established timelines. FINRA fingerprinting required.
  • Polished, professional presentation skills and comfort leading meetings virtually and in person
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Ability to travel as necessary for sales finals
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time, including CPT/OPT.
  • For remote and hybrid positions you will be required to provide reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection as well as a place in your home to work with limited disruption. You must have reliable connectivity from an internet service provider that is fiber, cable or DSL internet. Other necessary computer equipment, will be provided. You may be required to work in the office if you do not have an adequate home work environment and the required internet connection.

Responsibilities

  • Own sales funnel for select inbound and outbound prospects, guiding from initial outreach to contract signing for Stock Plan Services
  • Drive deal closure in partnership with the VP of Sales by effectively positioning Empower’s solutions through overcoming objections and negotiating agreements
  • Lead initial conversations around the prospect’s needs and situation to tailor a platform demonstration accordingly
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations with support from the ESPS sales team, including answering questions from prospects by leveraging Certified Equity Professional knowledge and industry experience
  • Conduct detailed review of proposals across a variety of service offerings for messaging, content, pricing, and format
  • Lead question and answer engagement with prospects via email and in virtual meetings to influence buying decisions
  • Conduct detailed review of agreements regarding content, pricing, and format
  • Design demonstration materials
  • Work with the Empower Implementation team to ensure seamless transition into the implementation process
  • Minimal travel as required for finals presentations to prospective clients
