Job Summary The Sales Director of Product Assembly, Americas is responsible for the business execution and has P&L responsibility for the PA business in Americas. Key responsibility is to develop, implement and execute strategic and operating plans derived from the divisional PA strategy and proper NBS Next deployment to achieve profitable growth, increased margins and operate within the expense budget within the region. The sales director of PA Americas will ensure strategy achievement by conducting strategic analysis to anticipate and manage growth opportunities and to minimize any business risks, developing and leading customer success initiatives, creating strong relationship to top customers and to ensure a high level of service for customer satisfaction. The role focuses also on providing vision, leadership and NBS Next coaching to subordinated employees and teams to create a high-performance culture with an owner-mindset and winning teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration, Marketing
  • 10+ years experience and deep understanding in sales and management within industry
  • 10+ years experience in leadership roles with a focus on managing high performing international teams
  • Track record of delivering ambitious results
  • Extensive business to business sales/distribution experience
  • Comprehensive change management experience
  • Experience and proven track record with top customer/contract negotiations
  • Willingness to travel and work with a global team of professionals

Responsibilities

  • Profit and loss responsibility for the PA business within the region
  • Develop and implementing regional business strategies in line with the divisional leader to achieve growth and profitability targets
  • Cascades key divisional goals to the team and monitors achieving key targets and metrics
  • Initiate and coordinate action plans to drive profitable growth and manage costs
  • Owns reporting to track all key sales metrics and pipeline management
  • Responsible for top customer satisfaction and their continued development
  • Maintains granular understanding of regional top customers requirements, trends, risks, opportunities and satisfaction level
  • Intensive partnership at all levels with top customers and internal resources to identify customer needs and trends at an early stage to create business opportunities
  • Secures that top customer’s voice is heard and shared within the rest of the PA organization and incorporated in strategy and product development
  • Work cross functionally with manufacturing to help with customer opportunities, resolve issues, planning, etc.
  • Work closely with marketing and communication to support development of sales strategies, tools and tactics to drive sales
  • Support and pro-actively enable sales activities, help to facilitate or open sales opportunities
  • Provide vision and leadership, empowering organization to take full functional responsibility and ownership for performance and results
  • Implement and use NBS Next within the region and coach regional employees and managers in the elements along the change curve
  • Set best in class examples for regional team in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits
  • Develop and manage the regional team to meet/exceed sales goals and profitability
  • Responsible for overseeing performance management, talent development, I&D and training process of the regional PA organization
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the sales teams
