About The Position

The Sales Director will support the Sales Region's initiatives and lead a team of 10 direct reports. This individual will work closely with the Executive Sales Director to support the achievement of NetJets' overall sales and financial goals. The Sales Director possess skills to improve the existing talent level in the Region and recruit new sales people as needed. The Sales Director works with their peers, the Sales Management team and the Executive Management team to improve processes, develop new products and campaigns, and define best practices that will be applied across all Regions. This is a highly visible position that consistently requires more hours than a standard work week. Substantial travel (up to 50%) within the assigned region is required as well as travel to Company meetings and events outside the Region of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration or Sales.
  • 6-8 years of experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership / management experience.
  • Recruiting and succession planning skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to constantly changing situations.
  • Willingness to travel to events and to support remote teams up to 50% of the time.
  • Experience in a Direct Sales role.
  • Prior experience managing remote teams.
  • Ability to understand and clearly communicate varying financial and operational aspects of fractional ownership.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire direct reports to achieve their goals.
  • Knowledge of target market and research tools for prospecting.
  • Proficient with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Define applicable metrics and analytics for continuous improvement.
  • Accountable for execution and achievement of sales goals set forth by Sales Management, including quotas and processes involving sales improvement and generating revenue.
  • Management of Opportunity Pipeline including coaching to wins and losses.
  • Identification and development of New Market and Product Opportunities.
  • Understand current CRM (SalesForce) and support adoption for optimum team output and effectiveness.
  • Develop an A-player talent pipeline through recruiting efforts; interview, hire, and train new team members.
  • Coach direct reports on sales strategy and tactics, pipeline, process, systems, business skills, and results.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of current market trends and provide team with actionable insights.
  • Foster an energetic, competitive sales culture that actively lives out NetJets' Core Competencies and supports the 20/20 Flight Plan.
