About The Position

We are looking for a Sales Supply & Execution Account Manager to join the MACS CU Verizon Networks Sales team. This is a dynamic role with a blend of strategic thinking, leadership skills, customer negotiating, risk assessment and execution while also responsibilities for driving operational excellence within the sales function. The successful candidate will contribute significantly for continuous ways to delight the customer and help them execute on their forecasting & execution supply programs while also maximizing Ericsson’s sales and path to operational excellence when it comes to expectation of sales, level loading supply and expediting for mutual benefit whenever needed. In addition, the candidate will be the prime interface to Ericsson’s Supply and Logistics organization to ensure accurate product production aligned to customer demand and timing. The Sales Supply & Execution manager plays a pivotal role in driving and continually developing the sales of existing contracted products with Verizon. Key efforts will focus on quarterly forecasting and execution and delivering both sales and margin as forecasted for each time period. This role has high intensity during customer escalations and quarter closing while also finding the balance of partnership and flexibility to best meet Verizon and Ericsson KPIs across the selling and shipping process. The role involves owning a long-term, proactive position in evolving Sales function and tools, fostering collaboration within the sales community, and applying best practices to simplify processes for end-users and internal stakeholders. The candidate will play a key role in the supply process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or similar degree
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales roles
  • In-depth expertise in one or more areas of specialism within Sales & Supply. Develop depth in own specialism while appreciating the wider field and its relation to business goals.
  • Ability to lead projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
  • Ability to handle complexity, acting either as a broad generalist or deep expert, addressing complex problems beyond existing solutions.
  • Ability to explain complex information to others, especially in potentially difficult or sensitive situations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a single point of contact within the CU to manage all aspects of the supply forecast for hardware solutions.
  • Serve as a single point of contact with the customer to support forecasting process, order issues, product tracking and escalations.
  • Ability and knowledge on financial metrics that must be met while finding win-win opportunities with customer needs for flexibility.
  • Manage and interface with MANA Supply on all end-to-end supply processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, capable of thriving in dynamic and challenging environments.

Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
