S&P Global Market Intelligence Lending Solutions is seeking to hire a sales manager who will be responsible for supervising and organizing our Investment Banking sales team. A successful candidate will oversee sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation. They will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitate the ongoing training of your salespeople.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Experience managing and leading a sales team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Performance Management of sales reps through coaching and setting expectations up front.
  • Active listening to resolve conflict and talk to prospective customers and members of the team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a sales-related management role is a plus.
  • A sense of social selling skills in using social media to find and interact with sales prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
