Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales leadership within the medical device, surgical training, or surgical simulation sectors.
  • At least 8+ years’ experience in the US surgical training ecosystem.
  • Strong business development skills with established networks among medtech companies, hospitals, universities, and training institutions.
  • Experience in organizing or supporting cadaveric training programs highly valued.
  • Ability to drive growth in new technologies and training solutions within the healthcare sector.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish or German a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the US (30–40%).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for the USA region, with focus on surgical training, training programs, and surgical simulation technologies.
  • Build and manage key relationships with medtech companies, hospitals, universities, medical schools, and training centers.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, driving market penetration in the East or West Coast.
  • Support the organization and commercialization of surgical simulation training programs and advanced surgical training initiatives.
  • Manage distributor and partner networks across the region, ensuring performance and territory growth.
  • Provide regular market insights, competitor analysis, and growth recommendations to global leadership.
  • Creating proposals and tracking projects through to contract conclusion.
  • Managing processes and ongoing projects with regard to profitability, growth, functionality, quality, costs, and deadlines.
  • Close collaboration with headquarters, especially with development, business development, product management, sales, production, and service.
  • Ensuring target achievement and independent implementation of sales and revenue planning.
  • Regular reporting to headquarters in Germany.
