About The Position

Sales Director, Data Centers - Colocations (Raleigh, NC) is a senior management position at Hitachi Energy. This role involves leading a team of Account Managers to achieve order targets, volume growth, price quality/margin, cost, and customer satisfaction objectives through excellent customer relations. The Sales Director will collaborate to develop specific sales strategies for key customers and market verticals, ensuring alignment with corporate growth objectives. Responsibilities include coaching Account Managers, overseeing the sales planning process, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree desirable.
• Technical degree or strong technical aptitude needed.
• Minimum 10 years of experience leading sales pursuits.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Data Center market.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proven success in collaborating within one's organization for external sales pursuits.
• Demonstrated effective leadership including coaching and people management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the account management team complies with all Hitachi Energy Policies, Laws, and Regulations.
• Drive sales activity and identify opportunities at existing and potential new customers.
• Manage Opportunity Pipeline and provide continuous support to Sales team members.
• Forecast bookings and meet/exceed resulting objectives.
• Prepare budget for the segment for upcoming fiscal years.
• Build and lead a top-performing sales team through talent acquisition and performance management.
• Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Lead market analysis to determine commercial viability of products.
• Attend monthly BU and Segment Review calls.
