Position type: Exempt DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Key responsibility is sales growth. Develops annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives. Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices. Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with President. Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses. Plans, implements and manages/controls the related sales process of the assigned sales team Responsible for hiring and training of new sales representatives Works with their team to ensure that each territory is developing to the expectations of the territory plan, and that it is being managed efficiently Reviews individual sales representatives’ sales performance and provide guidance and support. Prepares an annual evaluation of direct reports to include performance, areas for improvement and plans to address weaknesses. Manages and conducts, when appropriate, product presentations to accounts/prospects. Reports on market trends, and new technology and new products introduced by the competitors Participate in setting objectives, strategies, sales direction, goal setting and budget development. Ensure corporate policies are implemented and ensure compliance within each region. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field.
  • At least five years of proven and successful sales management experience preferred.

  • 50% to 60% travel / overnight stays required – a valid Driver’s License is required.
