About The Position

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities for the company by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. This is an entry level role and could result in a Sales Executive opportunity within K-1 Packaging with uncapped earning potential. Requirements

  • This individual must display a desire to connect with customers and display relentless determination and resilience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (Bi-lingual a plus) and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Proficient math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and all units of measure).
  • Effective planning, organizing, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge applicable to the job (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point, Internet, e-mail), as well as proficiency in the use of in-house programs and applications.
  • filing, copying, faxing, editing, and development of memos, letters, reports, and correspondence.
  • Excellent customer service and follow-through skills.
  • Strong knowledge of production methods, systems, and continuous-improvement processes.
  • Ability to adapt effectively to workplace changes and new job duties/responsibilities.
  • Represent the Company in a positive and professional manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • One (1) or more years of retail, customer service, or office experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new clients and sales opportunities.
  • Initiate a meeting with prospective customers and ensure a smooth transition to the commercial team.
  • Establish and maintain a cadence of communication with prospective customers.
  • Introduce company’s products and services to prospective customers.
  • Conduct plant tours for clients.
  • Promote the Company’s products and services by attending trade shows.
  • Work with Project Coordinators to obtain necessary information from the customer regarding production and quotations.
  • Maintain prospective customer list in the CRM.
  • Sell Company's products and services to clients.
  • Partner with Project Coordinators to resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
