About The Position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a key role in supporting Fusemachines’ growth by building early relationships with prospective clients and helping identify where our AI-driven solutions can add value. As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for many potential customers. You’ll focus on thoughtful outreach, meaningful discovery conversations, and collaboration with internal teams to help create a strong and healthy sales pipeline. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys learning about business challenges, building relationships, and growing within a technology-focused sales environment. A Day in the Life as a Sales Development Representative: Lead Generation & Outreach: Research target companies, industries, and stakeholders to identify potential opportunities Engage prospective clients through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels in a professional and consultative manner Respond promptly and thoughtfully to inbound inquiries and marketing-generated leads Discovery & Qualification: Conduct introductory conversations to understand prospect goals, challenges, and priorities Ask thoughtful questions to assess alignment and identify opportunities where Fusemachines solutions may be a good fit Clearly and confidently explain Fusemachines offerings in AI, data analytics, and technology solutions Pipeline & Sales Collaboration: Schedule qualified discovery meetings and demos for Account Executives or Sales Leaders Maintain accurate and organized records within the CRM system Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to improve lead quality and conversion Relationship Building: Build rapport and trust with prospects through consistent, professional communication Follow up with care and persistence to nurture relationships over time Performance & Growth: Work toward individual activity and pipeline goals with support from leadership Track outreach results and continuously refine messaging and approach Actively participate in coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or a customer-facing role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort engaging with a range of audiences, including senior and technical stakeholders
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms
  • Relationship-oriented and consultative communication style
  • Strong listening and discovery skills
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable learning new concepts and technologies
  • Collaborative, team-focused mindset
  • Motivated by growth, learning, and long-term career development

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B services, technology, or professional services environments
