About the Inside Sales Representative: MarketStar is currently looking for an Inside Sales Representatives to join us representing a premier client in the Corporate Training space. We’re looking for individuals with experience in building influential relationships with business customers and qualifying leads as opportunities. Location: Salt Lake City, UT - Estimated travel to office 1-2 times monthly.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred
  • 2 or more years exceptional sales attainment in a quota-driven, high-demand environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) and telephone presence
  • Self-motivated, accountable approach combined with strong sense of teamwork
  • Affinity for technology
  • Computer experience/knowledge
  • Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for appointment setting and pipeline development
  • The Inside Sales Rep must develop a solid understanding of the client's value proposition and be able to translate the value proposition into both written and oral communications with customers
  • Candidates must possess the ability and confidence to engage customers, evoke interest in corporate training solutions, qualify and disqualify potential customers, think quickly on their feet, and apply value propositions to specific customer scenarios and a variety of buyers
  • Aligned with Inside and Outside Sales Teams to drive demand, qualify new leads and set sales appointments
  • Establish an ongoing outbound lead development cadence of prioritizing contacts, and contacting them through a coordinated outreach of email, phone and social media
  • Establish regular cadence to coordinate with Sales team and management to provide an extended layer of support to drive new sales opportunities, schedule appointments in calendar, and provide follow-up, hand-off and feedback
  • Capture and enter all lead generation activity into Salesforce CRM, and report on lead and stage development, forecasting and pipeline velocity as well as key market/segment intelligence
  • Other applicable duties as assigned
