About The Position

At Techcyte, we build SaaS-based AI solutions for human, veterinary, and environmental test analysis. Our environmental brand, Sporecyte, is the first AI-based mold analysis and reporting service for Home Inspectors and industry professionals. Our goal is to make Sporecyte the leading mold laboratory solution for the industry. We are revolutionizing this industry and have a product that is head and shoulders above competitors. The Sporecyte Sales Development Representative (SDR) will focus on expanding our customer base of new Home Inspectors and continuing current relationships. As the main contact with our clients, the ideal SDR will have a strong understanding of the sales process from prospecting new clients and nurturing existing clients to generate new business. A candidate will have excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of our product. The SDR will make outbound and receive inbound calls to drive new customer acquisition.

Requirements

  • Highly motivated, driven, self-starting individual.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient with HubSpot CRM and Google Workspace experience is a plus -or- proficiency with another CRM software
  • Eligible candidates must live in and be authorized to work in the US

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting via email outreach to our existing database of contacts, research and build your own target customer lists, some outbound calling.
  • Prospecting via inbound calls. Sporecyte has a strong lead generation model to grow the pool of sales qualified leads and prospects.
  • Reactivate clients via phone calls and emails who have become inactive or switched service providers.
  • Ability to master product knowledge and speak confidently with customers to answer questions and convey sales information and close customers.
  • Ability to develop relationships quickly over the phone with clients and industry professionals
  • Follow-up on and maintain leads to keep them moving through the sales funnel.
  • Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to generate sales revenue.
  • Create and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Represent our company’s products and services by demonstrating a comprehensive understanding to show how our solutions meet customer’s needs.
  • Manage and update Techcyte’s CRM system with detailed information throughout the sales process.
  • Strong entrepreneurial personality, self-motivated and self-managing; strong team orientation and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  • Collaborate with the product and support teams at Sporecyte / Techcyte to resolve customer issues.
