About The Position

D.C. Elevator is a collection of well-established elevator service companies operating across the United States. Backed by Arcline Investment Management, AEG has a significant footprint in the elevator industry and is rapidly growing. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a talent for new customer engagement as we look to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) working out of our Louisville, KY office. The SDR will be the initial point of contact for new prospects with a focus on coordinating appointments on behalf of our Business Development Representatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfort using the telephone as primary means of outreach.
  • Willingness to cold-call and manage resistance.
  • Highly organized with an entrepreneurial and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. Ability to learn CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with internal sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • High-volume outbound cold calling
  • Qualifying and building prospect relationships
  • Booking appointments between prospects and our Business Development Representatives (BDRs)
  • Answers incoming calls and communications; determine and assign the priority level of a call.
  • Adeptly uses multi-line telephone system and other communications methods and networks.
  • Asking questions and determining the caller situation via interpretation, analyses, and anticipation.
  • Enter and update information in computer databases.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
