Join us on our mission to shape the future of our industry. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in driving awareness and the adoption of Cohesity’s solutions. This foundational role is suited for individuals passionate about beginning a career in sales. The role is focused on identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the development of a strong and sustainable sales pipeline. This position is located onsite in our Heathrow office. The ideal candidate will also be fluent in both Spanish & Portuguese.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both Spanish & Portuguese
  • Enthusiasm for sales, with ideally 1+ year of relevant experience.
  • Comfortable using CRM and prospecting tools.
  • Experience with researching companies, cold calling, emailing, and navigating organizational hierarchies.
  • Confident in making cold calls and handling objections.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Receptive to coaching and continuous feedback.
  • High level of grit and perseverance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Collaborative, team-first attitude with a willingness to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.
  • Self-motivated with a focus on learning and career development.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • College or bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to build and refine outbound prospecting lists.
  • Identify key decision-makers within target accounts.
  • Create and execute multi-channel outreach sequences (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Conduct discovery calls to assess prospective needs and introduce Cohesity solutions.
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads via phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Qualify leads using predefined criteria and book meetings for Account Executives to progress opportunities.
  • Work closely with account executives to hand off qualified opportunities.
  • Develop deep knowledge of Cohesity’s platform to confidently communicate our value proposition.
