About The Position

Calyx Containers is looking for a motivated and talented Sales Development Representative to join our growing team. Your primary responsibility is to identify and generate sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound activities through multi channeled outreach. The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated. This position requires heavy outbound phone calling, qualification, consultative selling skills, and tight collaboration with the Account Executives to generate new opportunities. The SDR will be expected to report on qualification and call activity and stay thoroughly informed on all products and the cannabis industry in general. The position is ideal for someone early in their career who is outgoing, detail-oriented, and interested in learning how sales can be a truly consultative process where we are bringing the best-in-class and tailored solutions to our customers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about positioning Calyx as the performance standard in cannabis packaging. Our co-founders first started this as a packaging design company (well, really started as a stuffed animal bong bag company…) and moved to UT to construct one of the most advanced digital printing innovation centers in the country. We recently launched a new cultivation technology called Calyx Cure that is already taking the industry by storm - and we need help progressing our product roadmap from here! This position is required to be in-person at the Calyx Spaceship (our manufacturing facility & HQ) in Salt Lake City, UT.
