About The Position

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Sales & Business Development professional with over 7 years of experience in software company sales and business development. The ideal candidate must be based in Austin, Texas, and possess a proven track record in building and managing a robust sales pipeline in Java Full Stack, React, Angular, and Node.js technologies. Experience in Salesforce Business Development is highly advantageous. This is a target-based role focused on acquiring new clients and achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Note: This position requires a high level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the software industry and the ability to drive sales growth through effective business development strategies. Requirements

  • Experience: Over 7 years of experience in software company sales and business development.
  • Location: Must be based in Texas, USA.
  • Salesforce BD: Experience in Salesforce Business Development is an added advantage.
  • Track Record: Proven record of building and managing a client base in previous roles.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Goal-Oriented: Ability to set and achieve sales targets consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Proactively research and identify new business opportunities in the software industry. Develop and execute strategies to generate leads and acquire new clients.
  • Develop Strategic Sales Plans: Create and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Analyse market trends and customer needs to tailor sales approaches.
  • Build and Manage Sales Pipeline: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of software projects in Java Full Stack, React, Angular, and Node.js technologies. Utilize CRM tools to track and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Understand client needs and provide customized solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, developers, and marketing, to ensure successful project delivery. Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed of industry trends. Identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement in sales strategies.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions.
  • Networking and Events: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
