About The Position

Reporting to the Sales Development Manager, the Sales Development Representative holds a key position that requires a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable and passionate about sales development and is highly customer-focused and efficient. The Video Security & Access Control division of Motorola Solutions is growing rapidly; We are open to considering fully-remote candidates based anywhere in the US.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 6+ months of sales experience.

Nice To Haves

• Six months to one year of experience within an inside sales organization.
• Preferred experience with technology sales.
• Preferred experience with video surveillance/security technology sales.
• Preferred Salesforce.com CRM experience.
• Preferred previous experience in a sales development role.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting for new business to develop relationships with key decision-makers.
• Understanding and responding to customer needs.
• Tracking and reporting on account activity.
• Identifying and developing new business prospects from multiple sources including prospect lists, discovery, and individual research.
• Qualifying all existing leads in Salesforce.com and all Avigilon lead databases and resources.
• Coordinating, promoting, and leading webinars in your assigned region as directed by the Inside Sales Manager.
• Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales objectives for your assigned territory.
• Accepting inbound and performing outbound telephone calls to identify sales opportunities.
• Meeting and exceeding daily call & activity metrics.
• Aligning with other members of the sales organization to support overall company revenue targets.
