About The Position

Polygon is a global leader in property damage restoration, temporary climate control, and environmental solutions. We partner with contractors, developers, and owners to protect buildings, reduce risk, and deliver on-time, on-budget outcomes. We are seeking Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join our growing team. As the first point of contact with potential clients, SDRs play a critical role in fueling Polygon’s sales pipeline. You will identify and qualify new opportunities in construction, food & industrial facilities, and institutional environments (universities, libraries, etc.), promoting the full portfolio of services and products including our IoT/digital solutions.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of customer service, inside sales, or outbound calling experience (internships or entry-level roles included).
  • Strong interest in sales, lead generation, and the construction/industrial services industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and digital touches
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Teams and willingness to learn CRM and prospecting tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with construction industry platforms (ConstructConnect, Dodge Data).
  • Exposure to digital/IoT solutions or facility management

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and qualify
  • Research target accounts and identify potential
  • Support outbound and research projects in construction, food, industrial, and institutional markets.
  • Use consultative questioning to understand customer needs and
  • Qualify leads against established criteria and schedule discovery meetings for the sales team.
  • Ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads to field sales
  • Maintain accurate lead and opportunity data in the CRM (NetSuite, Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Leverage third-party databases and prospecting tools (e.g., ConstructConnect, Dodge, LinkedIn Navigator).
  • Follow and personalize established templates and processes for consistency and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the SDR Manager and Sales/Marketing teams to align outreach with business priorities.
