The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is a critical entry-level position within the Sales team, responsible for prospecting and generating qualified leads for Sales Executives. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, possess strong sales talents, and be committed to creating new business opportunities. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales Operations and offers significant opportunities for compensation, with no cap on commissions, as well as a clear career path towards an Account Executive role. The on-target earnings for this position are split evenly between salary and commission, providing a strong incentive for performance. In this role, the SDR will be expected to develop a thorough understanding of the SimpliGov platform and its value proposition, utilize Salesforce and other sales enablement tools, and maintain a high volume of outbound activities to meet or exceed monthly quotas for scheduled demos and qualified opportunities. The SDR will also be responsible for confidently demonstrating the SimpliGov platform and building relationships with prospects and customers, thereby contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
