About The Position

Acres is hiring a Sales Development Intern based in Northwest Arkansas to join our growing sales organization. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn professional B2B sales in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment. You’ll be part of the team responsible for creating the first conversations that drive Acres’ growth. The Sales Development Intern will learn how to identify potential customers, research key accounts, and start thoughtful, value-based outreach that opens doors for our Account Executives. An ideal candidate is curious, confident, and coachable. Someone who enjoys learning about businesses, communicating with professionals, and finding ways to create value through conversation. You’ll work directly with experienced SDRs and AEs, gaining exposure to our go-to-market strategy, tools, and sales process. This role will help you develop the fundamentals of great selling: discipline, clarity, and empathy. You’ll learn to communicate Acres’ story, ask the right questions, and understand how data can transform how people buy and sell land. This is a part-time (15–20 hours per week) paid internship based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. High performers will have the opportunity to be considered for full-time positions (if available) following the program.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills: clear writer, confident speaker, and active listener
  • Curiosity about business, real estate, and technology
  • Organized, detail oriented, and proactive
  • Eager to learn and comfortable taking feedback
  • Interest in a career in sales, marketing, or business development
  • Local to Northwest Arkansas or open to being onsite in Fayetteville
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is a precondition to employment at Acres.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and research high potential accounts across key industries such as brokerage, lending, and development
  • Send personalized cold emails and make calls that start genuine, value based conversations
  • Qualify leads by identifying need, authority, timing, and fit for Acres
  • Keep data organized and accurate in HubSpot and other sales tools
  • Support the sales team by preparing call notes, updating lead lists, and ensuring clean AE handoffs
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leaders to refine messaging and campaigns
