What Your Experience Will Be: As a Sales Development Representative at Slang.ai , you'll be at the forefront of driving our outbound growth by prospecting specific businesses that fit our SMB Ideal Customer Profile. You'll connect with key decision-makers through cold calling, emailing, and using all available channels to spark interest. Working closely with your manager, you'll play a vital role in bringing new business to Slang. You'll collaborate with internal teams, including Account Executives, Partnerships, and Marketing, to ensure a seamless customer journey. This remote role may involve occasional travel for conferences or company meetings. You'll also utilize advanced sales technology to boost productivity and stay connected with prospects and your team.   • Prospecting and Setting Appointments: Connecting with inbound leads to secure appointments for our Sales team. 85 demos per month.
  • Active Listening and Curiosity: Using your questioning and listening skills to distill client needs and highlight common pain points , championing Slang’s ability to improve staff efficiency, streamline restaurant operations, and deliver world class guest experiences
  • Collaborative Support: Working closely with the Marketing and Account Executive teams to ensure smooth prospect hand-offs and leveraging unified messaging to expand our market influence
  • Disciplined Daily Execution: Executing on daily inputs with radical discipline regardless of immediate results (rain or shine). 80+ calls, accurate details logged properly in the CRM, outstanding first impressions as the initial face of Slang for many of our future customers.
  • Exceeding Targets: Consistently achieving and surpassing monthly appointment and pipeline quotas, setting 85+ appointments each month and generating qualified pipeline and revenue.
  • Over 1 year of experience in a customer or prospect facing role, demonstrating strong sales techniques and the ability to connect with potential clients effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating concepts clearly, concisely, and compellingly to resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Strong curiosity and active listening skills, fostering genuine connections and a deep understanding of others' needs and situations.
  • Humble and growth-oriented mindset, consistently seeking feedback and striving for continuous improvement.
