About The Position

The Sales Development Representative II is a key participant in the Sales department responsible for building new portfolios of business clients through merchant services and funding. What you will do: Experience selling Financial Services to small/large sized businesses Assist and manage negotiation, presentation, and business development for your clients Responsible for hitting key target metrics including revenue, volume, conversion %’s, monthly quotas etc. Develop relationships with customers and generate new business through pro-active targeted outbound calling Communicate with our trusted partners daily, while keeping Kapitus’ brand image top of mind Consistently follow up on leads and maintain active pipeline daily Research, analyze and provide background information on potential clients Work in a team atmosphere by communicating with sales department and merchants in both written and verbal form Track and manage upwards of 50 prospects at different stages of the sales cycle Stay current with industry trends to understand market dynamic Responsibilities are subject to change to best suit the needs and interests of the business

Requirements

  • Diploma required, college degree preferred
  • 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in IT, Fin-Tech, SaaS, and/or consultative sales with demonstrable experience delivering
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills as well as a strong sense of accountability.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability and desire to work in a rapid-paced environment.
  • Experience achieving metric and quality performance
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Effective at communicating clearly and adaptability
  • Experience with administrative tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
