Clearstory is looking for a high energy and dynamic SDR, with Construction Industry experience, to join our sales team! The Sales Development Representative is tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound calling and emailing activities. Its a fantastic initial role in sales, developing skills and knowledge that set you on a path to an Account Executive. The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated.

  • Identify and generate sales opportunities through inbound and outbound calling and emailing activities.
  • Engage in two-way phone conversations with prospects to explain Clearstory's value propositions.
  • Work under pressure and adapt to fast-changing environments.
  • Challenge the status quo and propose solutions to improve processes.
  • 3+ years of Construction Industry experience including working on the Change Order Process.
  • Experience as a project engineer, project manager, or in a relevant role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to initiate conversations and explain complex concepts clearly.
  • 1+ year of B2B cold-calling and CRM experience.
  • Previous SDR experience.
  • Experience selling into the commercial construction industry.
  • $66.5K Base + $20K Variable = $86.5k OTE + Equity Options.
