Overview of the role: We are seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive outbound pipeline origination to underpin our growth strategy for the North American Region. The role blends traditional SDR responsibilities with an entrepreneurial growth marketing mindset. You will have the freedom to identify and execute on your own innovative outreach to break into our target ICP, delivered through a focused and programmatic approach. You will be expected to have experience in leveraging AI and Sales Automation tools to support your campaign personalisation, but will also be using a multi touch methodology including calling, events, Linked in and other channels to produce high quality leads. This is an “Own it” role where you can really make a name for yourself and accelerate your career goals. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of SDR experience based on true outbound activities where you are not reliant on inbound leads to deliver your number. Ideally someone who has been part of a start-up/ scale up journey or who has been through Tier 1 SDR training and is looking to prove themselves in an exciting PE backed business. An understanding of financial institutions (T1/T2 banks, Insurance and fintechs is a bonus but enterprise software sales is a must.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Lead Generation role
  • Proven Results, generating quality pipeline that results in Revenue
  • True outbound experience in lesser known brands where you have intent and research driving activity not jut MQLs is a must
  • Familiarity with sales automation tools is a plus
  • Enterprise Software outreach (deals over 150k ARR) is a must
  • Experience targeting large FIs (T1/T2 banks, insurance and fintechs) is a plus
  • Knowledge of risk or compliance is a strong plus.
  • Team player with high EQ, a data-driven mindset, and a low-ego approach

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation
  • Conduct target list research and cold-call potential clients to generate pipeline.
  • Develop and execute AI-enhanced email campaigns with personalized outreach.
  • Data Driven: Use Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and AI tools (ChatGPT, Clay, Phantombuster) for intelligent prospecting based on intent and market/ client drivers.
  • Sales Outreach & Engagement
  • Write and refine outbound email templates to optimize response rates.
  • Utilize social media outreach (LinkedIn, Twitter) to engage prospects.
  • Set appointments and follow up on leads, ensuring high-quality engagement.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders to understand their business challenges.
  • Lead and/or Support Sales with deeper qualification and MEDDICC exploration early in the engagement
  • Teaming with Sales and Marketing
  • Work within the NALA POD alongside Sales, SMEs, Client Solutions and Marketing to define the regional strategy and develop campaign messaging and approaches
  • Constantly review and refine the team approach based on data driven outcomes
  • Pipeline Management & Analytics
  • Manage and track pipeline in HubSpot CRM, ensuring detailed qualification is completed before deals progress to pipeline
  • Monitor and iterate on outbound sequences based on performance metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments.
  • Networking & Thought Leadership
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to build relationships and generate leads.
