About The Position

The Sales Development Program Associate role at Flexsteel Industries is a career development opportunity designed to prepare participants for future positions as Sales Representatives or eCommerce Account Managers. This rotational program involves assignments across various departments, including Customer Care, Product Development, Sales Operations, and Marketing, providing a comprehensive understanding of the business and its operations. Participants will work closely with experienced Sales Reps to enhance their skills in driving sales growth and managing customer relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong understanding and commitment to customer focus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to develop effective, creative solutions.
• Capability to effectively manage multiple tasks to timely resolution.
• Ability to travel up to 50%-75%.
• Willingness to eventually relocate to a Flexsteel chosen market.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete an extensive rotational program including Customer Care, Product Development, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Field Sales.
• Resolve customer emails and phone calls, enter and maintain orders, and process warranty claims in Customer Care.
• Learn and support processes that lead to the development and launch of new products in Product Development.
• Support the strategy to deliver programs, tools, and training to the Sales Team and Retailers in Sales Operations and Retail Development.
• Complete assignments to develop an understanding of marketing support materials and programs.
• Work closely with assigned Flexsteel Sales Reps to support and drive sales with an assigned portfolio of accounts.
• Complete critical Sales, Marketing, and/or Product Development projects.
• Prepare, review, and distribute reporting to ensure customer deliverables are met.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
