We are looking for a motivated and curious Sales Development Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the fast-growing cybersecurity industry. This internship is designed for students interested in learning the fundamentals of B2B sales, prospecting, and business development. In this role, you will support our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) with day-to-day prospecting activities, market research, and sales operations tasks. As you develop in the role, you will have the opportunity to begin practicing core SDR skills such as outbound outreach, lead qualification, and discovery conversations. This is a great opportunity for students who are competitive, coachable, and interested in pursuing a career in technology sales, cybersecurity, or business development.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled college student (Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Curious, competitive, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable speaking with new people
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Interest in sales, technology, or cybersecurity
  • Coachable and open to feedback

Responsibilities

  • Support SDRs with account research and prospect identification
  • Help build target account lists and prospect data
  • Assist with CRM management and lead tracking
  • Research companies and key decision-makers in target industries
  • Support outbound sales campaigns and messaging preparation
  • Learn how to use sales tools such as Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and 6sense
  • Shadow SDRs during prospect calls and meetings
  • Gradually begin practicing outbound prospecting and call skills
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and sales strategy discussions
  • Report into Senior Sales leadership
