We’re seeking a Sales Development Associate to serve as the first point of contact for prospective DocuWare customers. In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you’ll leverage your excellent communication and listening skills to deliver high-quality, timely information to leads, while qualifying their interest and integrity. Your efforts will play a crucial part in building our sales pipeline and shaping our marketing strategy. This role has a weekly hybrid work schedule and is based out of the Beacon, NY office. This role also requires verbal and written fluency in both English and Spanish.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of practical experience in customer service or a similar role
  • Proactive, with a passion for direct customer interaction
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand customer needs
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Strong active listening and teamwork abilities
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking skills

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Execute targeted outbound calling campaigns to generate qualified leads and schedule appointments for the DocuWare sales team.
  • Field all inbound phone and email inquiries related to product demo requests or interest in DocuWare solutions, ensuring prospects receive a prompt and enthusiastic response.
  • Qualify incoming leads for integrity, level of interest, and readiness to engage, then route appropriately—whether to the sales team or to marketing nurture channels.
  • Proactively reach out to all marketing-generated leads who have self-qualified through scored engagement activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HubSpot and our CRM, ensuring all prospect interactions are logged according to best practices to facilitate effective reporting and follow-up.
  • Collaborate closely with demand generation marketing and sales teams to continuously improve lead qualification tactics and understand how your work drives business results.
  • Provide real-world feedback to marketing writers and leadership, helping refine messaging and product positioning while shaping DocuWare’s overall go-to-market strategy.
  • Contribute to weekly and monthly reporting by tracking key performance metrics and lead outcomes.
  • Manage incoming leads, cross-referencing with existing customer and partner databases to ensure appropriate lead assignment and eliminate duplicates.
  • Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their pain points, aligning DocuWare technology benefits to their unique business needs.

Benefits

  • $55,000 to $65,000 base pay
  • This is an hourly position with a standard 40 hours work week, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm EST
