About The Position

Furniture Fair is seeking an Interior Design Sales Consultant for our retail showroom and to complete in-home consultations. The Interior Design Sales Consultant provides design services to customers, enters and manages orders, and coordinates general business activities and the needs of Furniture Fair clients through courteous and timely service.

Requirements

• Interior Design Degree or 3 years of design sales experience.
• Established residential designer is preferred.
• Ability to sketch designs for clients.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience with tablet/IPad technology.
• Experience presenting information and data in a sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide design services for customers. The ability to sketch is also helpful for customers.
• Interior Designers are responsible on the front end for selection information and order entry.
• Build your client base by connecting with existing clients list and new walk-in business.
• Maintain and organize a visually appealing showroom.
• Complete in-home consultations.
