About The Position

The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. This role acts as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and solutions meet business needs. This position will identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes to produce accurate analyses and or hypotheses testing by assessing large structured as well as unstructured datasets.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and experience of relational databases
  • Experience with PowerBI
  • Strong knowledge of MS SharePoint and Office Suites
  • Familiarity with Oracle eBusiness Suite
  • Must have experience across several relevant business domains in the utilization of critical thinking skills to conceptualize complex business problems and their solutions using large scale business data sets.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
  • High degree of customer sensitivity/acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally with other leaders on sensitive and/or emotional issues.
  • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization
  • Detail oriented and ability to handle multiple requests/situations in a timely manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in information technology or a directly related field.

Responsibilities

  • Provide reporting and analytical solutions to support data-driven decision making for upper management.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance Business Intelligence Solutions and Analytics Dashboards using Database Systems, Data Warehouses, Microsoft, Oracle and other systems and platforms as required
  • Design, develop and support Workflow-Enabled Custom Business Solutions.
  • Support and Troubleshoot Enterprise and Custom BI Systems, Solutions and Analytics Platforms.
  • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
  • Develop and update technical documentation.
  • Collect data from existing legacy sources as well as new data sources including Oracle EBS and cloud platforms.
  • Design, develop and support interfaces from and to various business and enterprise applications.
  • Identify, recommend, and prioritize new solutions and applications in conjunction with business requirements
  • Conduct research and attend training for current and emerging business intelligence technologies in support of reporting needs
