The position involves attending training schools for professional development as required, completing applications and paperwork for new Property & Casualty (P&C) business and changes to existing business, and binding P&C coverage according to insurance regulations and company guidelines. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, completing follow-up requests to customers on insurance services, providing quotations for P&C insurance coverages, and conducting other marketing activities as directed. The role also requires handling routine correspondence from the home office, accepting premium payments for new business and renewals, and preparing, processing, reviewing, and monitoring applications, changes, binders, etc. The individual must perform in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions, present a professional appearance, demeanor, and behavior, and strive to attain company goals and growth expectations. Other duties may be assigned by the manager.
